We may be able to see some urgent care appointments during the day as the schedule allows, but availability is not guaranteed. If your animal has an urgent concern during business hours, call us right away at (845) 255-2900 so our team can advise whether an appointment may be possible.

For true emergencies, contact the nearest appropriate emergency veterinary hospital right away. Because our clients come from a wide area, the nearest emergency option may depend on your location and the type of animal. Always call the emergency hospital before driving there so they can confirm availability and prepare for your animal.

Small animal emergencies:
For dogs, cats, and small animals, contact the nearest emergency veterinary hospital. Guardian Veterinary in Brewster, NY is the largest emergency hospital in our area, but it may not be the closest option for every client.

Equine emergencies:
For horse emergencies, we recommend Rhinebeck Equine or Pine Bush Equine Hospital.

Large animal emergencies:
For large animal emergencies, we recommend Catskill Veterinary Services in Rock Hill or Cornell Veterinary Hospital in Ithaca, NY.
